Shadow of a thousand years rise again unseen, voices whisper in the trees...
It's Halloween..

I Marked my Day!!!

For almost two years of staying here (in my recent job as an ESL teacher), I've been part of feeling creepy every time we mark the Halloween. And for the first time of my life, I'd tried to participate with this scary things. amhh... and two days ago, I marked my day. The team decided to join the "Pumpkin Carving Contest" however, instead of pumpkin, we used squash.. uhuhu too hard to carve. Maybe, it might be because here in Philippines, it's difficult to find some stores that sell pumpkin and it's too expensive.
☺ Well, the day was successful with my pretty-gorgeous co-members.
Girls, thanks much for your helping hand.
*.* We made it to the highest level. ^.^

What's behind pumpkin carving?

Carved pumpkin is also called as jack-o'lanter, originally carved from turnips, potatoes, beets or squash and named after a strange light glimmering over a marshland. It's too easy to make; the top cover should be removed, scooped out the inside flesh and carved creepy like monstrous face designs. Some people "often carved with grotesque faces to represent spirits or goblins" It was originated from an Irish myth about a man named "Stingy Jack"

Creepy time!!!

The result:

Kiara and Garnet's spooky mind decided to do something unusual figure for our entry of the said contest. It's kinda like an inspired figure of plants vs. zombies or just a killer-plant. ammhh? What do you think?

Last year's October 2013, the company opened some employee-zombies who were blood-curdling faces that would scare some students online and offline.  And of course,  I never missed taking some pictures with these fearsome looks.

Ms. Garnet • Behind the frisky looks of a mysterious red lady.

Ms Brazzy • Behind the innocent looks of a freaky doll.

Was it hair-raising moment with this creepy people?
Ohhh... Make something difference out from sugary-spooky mind...
Now, I'm a little bit excited for the next year's nerve-racking Halloween.

Lovelots, Bye for now ♥
